make things interesting. Your partner may have their
own perceptions of what they find appealing, so you
use your best judgment on what you choose for those
intimate moments. Browse selections at sexy lingerie
stores to see what might suit you best.

Baby Doll Nightie

This cute little number is usually a short gown with
a built in, bra-like cups with a loose flowing skirt.
The baby doll nightie could be made of silk, nylon
or a sheer material, depending on your preference.

Garter Belt

First things first, these are not to be worn with pants.
The garter belt is worn directly on the skin around
the waist. Sexy stockings or thigh-highs can be attached
to the belt with the 4 to 8 straps that dangle
from this exotic item. To complement the look,
wear a sexy matching bra (or not).

high on the upper thigh. It can be made with
a silky or sheer type of material. It usually comes
with a matching pair of skimpy panties that you
can wear with it.

Bustier

bustier is a sexy strapless bra that goes down to the
waist with garter straps attached. It is made with
a silk or other kind of shiny material.
The look is exotic, and can be worn with or without panties.

that goes to the waist. It can be worn like a
slip underneath a wool sweater, beneath
an open jacket, or just as it is with a pair of matching panties.

One of the most common gowns, it is a straight
cut that falls just above the knee. It has thin,
spaghetti-like straps that are sometimes adjustable.
Most chemises are made with a silky type of material

Thongs and G-String Panties

Thongs are panties that only cover the front
and leave your bottom exposed, covered only
by a thin strip of material. G-Strings are similar,
except there is only a thin, stretchable string
covering your backside.

Corset

Tight fitting and made of a stiff material,
corset cinches the waist and lifts up breasts.
It is held in place by adjustable lacing in the back.
Sometimes garter straps are attached to the
bottom as an added feature.

Peignoir

A peignoir is a long gown with a length that
reaches the ankles. These types of gowns usually
come with a matching robe.

Novelty Lingerie

Styles of sexy novelty lingerie vary greatly,
from highly embellished items, to unique fabrics
such as leather, to fantasy costumes.
What they have in common is a more unusual
element thatn even standard sexy pieces.

Everyday Lingerie

Bras and panties are women's lingerie staples.

Bras

Bras are a woman's most common piece of lingerie.
They give breasts support and enhance a
woman's appearance. Types of bras include:
  • Push up bra:
Even the smallest breasts can be enhanced
with a push-up braThey increase the look of
breast size with added padding inside the cups
(which can be removed), giving the appearance
of more voluptuous cleavage.
  • Demi-cup or balconette:
This supportive bra style covers only the bottom
portion of the breasts and offers more cleavage.
It is great for low cut tops.
  • Underwire bra:
Especially suitable for larger breasted women,
it is a supportive bra with a slim wire sewn
into the bottom portion of the cups for added support.
  • Minimizer bra:
A minimizer bra is designed to make breasts
look smaller. Suitable for large breasted women
to help fit certain types of clothing fit better
or create a more professional (less distracting)
appearance.
  • Sports bra
A sports bra offers firm support and may come
in complete stretch styles or with molded cups.
  • Strapless bra
A bra without straps, these often have underwire
or other shaping and are worn under strapless dresses.
  • Multi-way
These bras have detachable straps that can
be moved in different positions or removed
to make sure bra straps are not exposed for
different types of tops or dresses.
  • T-shirt bras
These bras are typically made with a smoother
exterior and minimal embellishment that allows
for a smooth appearance under t-shirts
or clinging clothing.

Panties

Women's everyday panties come in different
cuts and styles. Depending on your preference
and comfort level, there is a selection for everyone.
Bikinis:
bikini is a type of panty sits on the hip,
and fully covers the front and rear.

Brazilian cut
A Brazilian cut panty has more exposure of the rear,
but does has more fabric than a thong style.

Cheeky panty
A popular trendy style of panty is the cheeky,
which shows the sides of the rear. It offers more
coverage than a thong, but less coverage than a bikini style.

Boy shorts:
Boy shorts are designed to sit on the waist,
and are similar to shorts.

Hipsters or hip-huggers
This type of panty has a low waist, and hugs the hips,
but does not go down as far on the thighs as boy shorts.

Briefs
A standard in women's undergarments,
this style may be high-waisted or sit at the waist,
and offers full rear and front coverage.

Flutter or tanga panties:
This style sits on the waist and has elastic at the top,
but are loose and frilly at the bottom.

Slips

Worn underneath skirts, dresses and blouses
to prevent these garments from being see-through,
which would result in unwanted attention.

Shapewear

Shapewear is designed to create a smooth silhouette
under clothing, and comes in a variety of forms.
Bodysuits and body shapers, high-waisted
undergarments, and long line shaping bras
are some of the most popular items.

A Perfect Fit

One of the best things about lingerie is that
it has the ability to make you feel incredibly
sexy and feminine while offering support of
your figure. Choose items that have the
perfect fit and enhance what you already have.
Whether you are selecting a sexy piece or
looking for everyday items, you can feel beautiful
and confident in the right lingerie.
